Blogs You Should Be Reading: July 2011 [sites]

This is a map of Middle-Earth that moonlights as a dress. It has nothing to do with the content of this post.

I spend a lot of time online when, honestly, I should be writing.

I read a lot of blogs too. Some are about the craft of writing, some publish stories that I enjoy, and some are just good old fashioned  nerd sites.

You should be reading these blogs/checking out these sites as well. Why? Because they’re awesome. Yes, my opinion matters.

What follows is a list of blogs/sites that I found particularly interesting. These are either posts written in the month of July, or websites that I discovered this month.

Feel free to browse, and to leave a link to your blog in the comments if you think I should check you out!

The Clarion Sci-Fi and Fantasy Workshop has several posts that deal with the craft of writing and how it relates to speculative fiction. Check them out here.

Mike Mullin is an author, and from what I hear, a pretty good one. He wrote an awesome post about why bad reviews aren’t all that bad. Read it here.
